Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Culberry Storage, we aim to make storage simple, flexible, and transparent. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for all storage agreements.
By renting a storage unit with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Cancellation Before Move-In
If you need to cancel your booking before your agreed move-in date, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

✅ Cancellations made with 48 hours’ notice or more — full refund of any pre-paid storage fees. 
- 
⚠️ Cancellations made within 48 hours — refund may be subject to a small administrative fee.

2. Notice Period for Vacating (Weekly Plans)
You may cancel your weekly storage plan at any time by giving at least 7 days’ notice in writing or via email.
You are responsible for payment up until the final day of the notice period, or the date the unit is vacated — whichever is later.
Units must be left clean, empty, and unlocked at the end of your agreement.
3. Refunds for Unused Time
If you are on a weekly or monthly plan and vacate early, a pro-rata refund may be given for any unused full weeks, provided:
- 
You have given at least 7 days’ notice 
- 
The unit is left clean and empty 
- 
All payments are up to date 
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
4. Long-Term Prepaid Plans (6 or 12 Months)
If you have prepaid for 6 months or 12 months (or longer), please note:
⚠️ No refunds will be issued for early termination or unused time.
Long-term prepaid plans are offered at a discounted rate, and payments are non-refundable once storage begins.
You may still vacate your unit early, but no partial refund or credit will be applied.
5. No Refunds in Certain Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued if:
- 
You vacate without providing notice 
- 
You leave mid-week or mid-month (for partial periods) 
- 
You breach our Terms & Conditions 
- 
The unit is damaged, unclean, or not fully emptied 
- 
You are on a prepaid 6- or 12-month plan 
6. Cancellations by Culberry Storage
We reserve the right to cancel or terminate any agreement due to:
- 
Non-payment 
- 
Breach of our Terms & Conditions 
- 
Unsafe, hazardous, or prohibited items being stored 
- 
Site safety or operational reasons 
In such cases, refunds will be reviewed individually and may be withheld.
